The Power of Music
It’s amazing the power that music has over us. If you feel down and out, all you have to do is turn on some positive, energetic music and in no time at all you’ll be smiling and dancing. When you listen to music you love, time ceases to exist and you get lost in some melody. I don’t know about you, but when I’m listening to music, I become entranced. I become the music.
You see, music is nothing but energy that gets transmitted through the air. If it’s positive energy, it affects us in a positive way and when it’s negative…well, you begin to feel negative. That’s why you should be careful to the music that you listen to. I don’t listen to much radio nowadays because some of the music today is filled with negativity. Who wants to hear about sex, drugs, and guns constantly?
Justin Timberlake’s My Love: A Dance Song and Love Song in One
One of my favorite dance songs right now is Justin Timberlake’s My Love from his FutureSex/LoveSounds Album. Not only does it have a beat you can groove to, it’s basically a love song in disguise:
